Nashville rocked! We ate heaps of awesome barbeque, listened to some phenomenal live music...oh yeah, and we ran a little bit too! On our first day, we ate BBQ at the legendary Jack's, checked in and picked up our race packets at the Expo, returned to our room to find that Lori had sent us a bottle of champagne (thanks!), and went out on the town, settling on food at Paradise Park Trailer Resort, an awesome venue modeled after a trailer park (pink flamingos and soggy astroturf included) where we chowed down on chili cheese fries and burgers and listened to Train Wreck, the first of many cool live bands.
