Brunch at Landmarc, NYC

We met up with Andrew, Tamara, and Dad M. in NYC to move some stuff from Jersey back to St. Catharines. Though it was a short visit with Dad, it was great to see him!

Canadian Thanksgiving

We had a great time over Canadian Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, our camera batteries we just about dead, so we just got a couple pics. Check out these cute kids! Special thanks to Avery for teaching us how to play Go Fish. You're got a mean poker face, kid.

St. Catharines/Pickering/Tyrone - August 2007

We were in Canada in the end of August for quick visits with our families. After a quick visit with the Madars (check out the pic of the awesome wild turkeys that visit their yard!), we headed to Pickering and Tyrone to see the Hemsworths, where hijinks ensued with the kids! Uncle James finally met Hailey for the first time, which was a wonderful moment. Thanks to all for a great visit.

Jenny & Sean visit - Aug 2007

Jenny and Sean came down for the Canadian civic holiday in August. We had a great time touring DC with Jenny's plethora of guidebooks, though the heat and humidity were formidable foes. It was so awesome to see them after more than a year and a half - in the time that passed between our last dinner together, Jenny and Sean got engaged, married, and bought a house! Come back soon!

NYC - July 2007 - The Nautica NYC Triathlon

Andrew kicked butt and took names at the Nautica NYC Triathlon. Robyn proved that she has the hand-eye coordination of a kindergartner...so enjoy the pics of the route, since she couldn't capture Andrew as he cycled by...and when he was running by she was too busy crying over how proud she was of everyone. It was really cool to be at the finish line and see all the families and friends supporting their athletes. We were especially proud of Andrew as he completed the triathlon with a stomach full of the giant BBQ feast we ate the night before.

New York - July 2007 - Fire Island

We had a great trip to NYC to visit Andrew and Tamara. We went out to Fire Island, which is a fantastic beach, and had fun frolicking in the waves, playing frisbee, and hanging out. And, as an added bonus, the pic of me in a bathing suit provides an important lesson to all you ladies out there: horizontal stripes are bad. Very bad.

The Rent Seekers

James's band, The Rent Seekers, have been rocking the Grog & Tankard in DC for the last couple of months. They play a rockin' mix of 70s, 80s, 90s, and contemporary tunes. Here's a pic of the band..for more pics, video and more info, check out their blog - the address is up in the corner of our blog.

Miss us?

Hi everyone...we're back! After a long hiatus, we're connected again, and we have quite the backlog to post. We'll do out best to keep these chronological. Enjoy!
