This is Lauren's own little garden. We planted some pea shoots (see earlier post) and are taking care of them until they are ready to go into Daddy's garden in the backyard.

Fun times at the park

On Sunday morning, we took a long walk and then stopped at the park to "play a little bit?" (as Lauren likes to say).

What a great day!

We had a truly wonderful Saturday! Lauren spent the morning with Uncle Andrew, Aunt Tamara, Baby Calyse, Calyse's Grandma Cindy, and Mummy at the park. We had a nice long walk by the lake and then Lauren enjoyed her first ever carousel ride. She loved it - alternating between "I like it! I love it!" and "Want to get off". Her three favorite parts of the merry-go-round: "up and down", "round and round", and the music. Then, after a huge nap, Lauren helped Mummy and Daddy in the garden. She even planted her very own little 12-pea garden.

The Latest

Lauren just keeps growing up! She can count to 13, spell her name (with a little help), and tell you her last name. She loves to play with stickers, hear the Nicky the Jazz Cat book and CD, and play outside with her friends. She also loves to hide and then ask "Where'd Lauren go? Where's Lauren?" in a really funny, high-pitched voice. Such a funny little monkey!

Happy Easter

Uncle Jason, Auntie Alex, Hailey, Grandma, and Grandpa came to visit over Easter weekend. We had a hopping good time!
