We dropped Grandma off at the airport, ran a few errands, had a big nap, and then Lauren's aunt, uncle, and cousins from the Soo arrived! Avery and Ewan's favorite parts of the visit seemed to be the mail slot on our front door and the escalator - and, of course, baby Lauren! They were wonderful with her - very considerate and gentle. It was a great visit - see more (and better) pics at Kevin's blog. We all went to the National Mall together on Sunday - it was Lauren's first time on the Metro! She demonstrated just what Mummy thinks of the Metro system by loudly pooping her pants on a very quiet train on the way home - hilarious! Lauren and her Auntie Erin, Uncle Kevin, and cousins also went to the zoo and rode a double decker bus around the monuments together. It was a very busy but awesome visit! Thanks for all your help!
