Thanks to everyone for all the congratulations and well wishes. James was reading me our emails and the blog comments while in the hospital, and it was so great to hear from all of you (and funny to hear everyone's shock that she's a girl!). Here's a pic of Lauren with some of the gifts sent to us this past week. Between the cookie bouquet from honorary Grandma Lori, the monkey bread from Aunt Tamara and Uncle Andrew (and creme eggs!), and the cookie tin from Aunt Heather and Uncle Jay, we should be able to stay wired during those late night wake-ups! Thanks to her grandparents for the beautiful flowers, too!

how spoiled is she now that Grandma and Grandpa are there for the first time? Avery wishes you were here so she could bring Lauren in for show and tell. Ewan just thinks she's cute. We are all very excited for our visit to DC this summer. We will need to do a skype chat soon.
