Mom & Dad H (aka Grandpa Fish and Grandma Cookies) come to DC!

We had a great time with Robyn's parents in DC. We did a very fun and cheesy DC Ducks tour (a WW2 era sightseeing vehicle that drives around the monuments and then drives into the Potomac to become a boat tour - super cool!) and walked around the Capitol Hill neighborhood (check out the Obama pumpkin) on Friday, and then finished off the day with a yummy dinner and Mom's first trip to Target. On Saturday we went to Mount Vernon (home of George and Martha Washington) and then walked around Old Town Alexandria and then spent a quiet evening visiting and relaxing from all the good food and walking around! We were so glad they came down to DC and it was awesome to see them! (Thanks for bringing us gummy bears and wine gums too. You always make sure we get our fix of the Canadian stuff we've been craving...now if only you could figure out a way to get Swiss Chalet down here!)

Ewan wants to know what my Google Maccount is! Looks like you all had lots of fun on Grandma and Grandpa's trip. We wish we could have gone on the DC Ducks Tour with you. Ewan wants to see Martha Washington, and Avery wants to see Barack Obama's pumpkin (as does Ewan), dance to James' brother's piping and especially wants more Grandma jam! We love you lots...now hopefully my Google Maccount works.
