For Kevin

So, I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I've been running for the last few months on an old pair of cross-trainers.  I was explaining my ankle, shin, and knee pain to Kevin, who ordered me to not pass go and head straight to a running store.  Here's the proof:  new shoes.  And boy, are they comfortable (and much lighter and more cushioned than the old ones).  Who knew big brothers could give good advice?!?

About time...I talked to you about this weeks ago! And for the record, big brothers ALWAYS know what they're talking about, it just so happens that this time I know from experience. The right shoes make all the difference. Runners (and despite my accomplishment last year I do not presume to call myself one) will tell you all sorts of conflicting things, but the one thing they can all agree on is the necessity of proper footwear. Keep on running!
